Wematch.live appoints Collins as Head of Trading US

Wematch.live has appointed Matt Collins as the new head of trading US.
Based in New York, Collins brings over 20 years of industry expertise and an understanding of the needs of dealer and buy side communities.
He previously spent seven years at EquiLend where he led the firm鈥檚 anonymous OCC securities lending platform, and ran the total return swaps (TRS) business.
In addition, at EquiLend, he worked to drive innovation in execution, automation, and client engagement.
Prior to this, Collins was at UBS O鈥機onnor 鈥� an alternatives platform with hedge funds, alternative credit, and commodities.
Here, he ran the prime brokerage optimisation business, with a focus on broker relationships, counterparty risk management, and oversight of day-to-day TRS and securities borrowing and lending activity.
Earlier in his career, Collins took on roles at UBS Investment Bank and Morgan Stanley, gaining foundational experience across securities finance over his first eight years in the industry.
