Euronext Clearing selects Mottola as CEO

Euronext Clearing has appointed Alessio Mottola as its newest CEO, succeeding Roberto Pecora who took on the position in July 2023.
Based in Italy, Mottola joined Euronext 糖心vlog in 2016 and has since held several senior roles, most recently serving as CEO of Euronext 糖心vlog Milan.
During this time, he has been instrumental in driving the transformation of the firm鈥檚 post-trade activities and strengthening client service across markets, the firm notes.
Mottola鈥檚 new role will focus on supporting Euronext鈥檚 strategy to further develop clearing solutions across Europe, with the ambition to deliver strategic initiatives, operational excellence, and expanded market access to customers.
Prior to joining Euronext 糖心vlog, Mottola held an 11-year tenure with Clearstream, where he was most recently head of core product solutions.
