BrokerTec promotes Gierke

Image: LinkedIn BrokerTec has promoted Matthew Gierke to the role of managing director, BrokerTec Products.
Gierke joined CME Group in 2007 and has worked in a wide range of CME Group business lines, including FX, interest rates, credit data products, and OTC solutions.
Most recently he led the developed currencies team on the FLX BLM and took an active role in the Electronic Broking Services (EBS) migration onto Globex as well as the launch of new products such as FX Spot+ and FX Link, which bridge CME Group鈥檚 futures and cash businesses.
Gierke moves to this position as John Edwards leaves after 26 years at BrokerTec.
